Ernie is a creative fireball of branding expertise who has been igniting businesses and convenience stores for nearly 30 years. After spending two years as a concept artist and designer for a high-tech ad agency, Ernie founded Ernburn, a production studio in 1995 that quickly earned a reputation for sparking exciting brand development. His accelerated branding approach articulated in his book, “Your Brand Sucks" is highlighted by his incredibly successful rebranding of regional c-store chain Maverik, Inc. where he led the transformation from the tired old country store brand into an exciting multi-billion dollar adventure-themed brand. In 2018, he left his position as Maverik's Executive Director of Marketing to ignite other brands as a professional speaker and consultant.Ernie loves to draw, wakeboard, exercise, mountain bike, watch movies, eat junk food, and spend time with his family and 7 brothers.

  • Ernie hosted and executive produced 13 episodes of a travel TV series called Xtreme Tourist
  • Teaches kids to draw on his YouTube channel Sketch-e (Beware! It's super cringey!)

Susan teaches courses on leadership, networking, and communication. As an active member of the community, she thrives when she helps others connect!

Rhea Allen, President/CEO of Peppershock Media, is known for her story-telling passion and her ability to diligently obtain effective media campaign results by crafting relevant,impactful, and compelling messaging. As an in-demand integrative marketing consultant, national presenter, adjunct professor at Boise State University, and a keynote speaker, Rhea emphasizes team building and creating a company culture that inspires superior outcomes for each and every loyal Peppershock Media client.

You might say that she facilitates clients and crew through the creative process, but really she just has fun! With a television news & promotions background not only in the Treasure Valley but in the top 12 market in Seattle, Rhea takes an investigative, documentary, testimonial and “edutainment” style to her celebrated work, where her love of story-telling really shines! Rhea and her husband Drew Allen, Co-Founder/COO of Peppershock have two boys Emerson and Kaden, they enjoy spending time in the outdoors together.

ABOUT THE WYAKIN FOUNDATION:
The Wyakin Foundation believes that by serving and sacrificing in the name of our safety and freedom, our veterans have earned the right not to a handout, but to our very best efforts to assist them in purposing their commitment and hard work toward a successful and fulfilling civilian future.

They measure their achievement not by statistical success, but rather by Warrior success. The individual victories and accomplishments realized by each Warrior are ultimately the only measure upon which we can rightfully appraise our performance.


The Wyakin Foundation pushes their Warriors when they need to be pushed, pull them when they need to be pulled, and walk side-by-side with them otherwise. They illuminate pathways, ease burdens, and empower their Warriors to overcome obstacles. We shepherd, motivate, advocate, counsel, inspire, challenge, and support. Neither ego nor bureaucracy nor frustration nor fatigue dissuades us from the obligation to give each Warrior their fullest and most individualized attention and effort.


They set our sights high and operate with the full expectation of success. We prioritize trust, accountability, and commitment. We establish high standards for the organization and even higher standards for ourselves.

Above all else they remember that ultimately they are not in the business of projects and presentations, nor of contacts and connections, nor even of seminars and stipends. They are in the business of Warrior success. Their programs are a means to an end; our operations and procedures are a vehicle whereby our Warriors can avail themselves to their fully realized potential, not by our definition, but by their own.

Nope! You do not need to bring your ticket to our event. Our registration table will have your ticket ready for you to check in once you arrive!

Yes! We love to let you rewatch and relearn everything that you took away from each of our speakers. So much that we post on our Blog.

Only your business cards, a cell phone, and some pen & paper are necessary. We will provide everything else you're going to need.
As much as we would love to share longer in the experience with you, we do need to allow for enough time for set up and get our speakers organized and ready to go, giving you the best experience possible!

Our goal is to get everyone in one room, it's truly the best way for you, our speakers, and everyone to get the maximum experience out of Brand Discovery. 

If you're uncertain if you'll be able to make it in-person, we call it our "extra insurance" plan. If you end up thinking you'll make it in-person and would like refund we do offer those up to 48hrs before the event, just reach out to us at marketing@thesolvgroup.com and we can get that going for you.

However, we still do require registration prior to event entry. Our team is equipped to help you register in only 3 minutes, plus it helps us make sure we have an accurate headcount for our Keynote Luncheon meals.
