I get this question a lot, so I want to explain how an online swag store platform would work for your team. It's a totally hands-off process for you and requires no out-of-pocket cost for setting up the site. Below is a step by step process of how it would work.
SOLV will set up an online team store that can be added as a tab to any already existing website, or can be sent out as an individual link via email.
The webstore will have individual tabs to click on that will take you to a specific page for each sport, group, or organization.
Pick individual Items for each group that we want to have featured on their site. (SOLV has access to every brand imaginable, so this would just be a matter of determining what price ranges we want to be at/ what specific brands we want to feature/ etc.) For a lot of the High School sites we are offering a cheaper option and a nicer option on similar items (for example a Russell “dri-fit" shirt and a Nike “dri-fit" shirt can both be available as an option for your customers to choose). This part really just comes down to how many different options and styles you want your customers to have access to, the possibilities are endless.
As I mentioned, there is no initial set up cost for your swag store platform. Where SOLV makes our money is through your customers ordering the items from us directly through the site. Where the school or athletic program makes their money is through the additional markups that you choose to add onto each item. (For example, if we offer a hat in which SOLV’s price is $15.00, and you choose to sell it on the website for $20.00 then the customer would pay $20.00 directly to SOLV through the website. $15.00 of that sell would go to SOLV and $5.00 of that would go back to you). We even have the option to track which items are sold per sport in the instance that you wanted volleyball sales to go to volleyball, baseball sales to go to baseball, etc. So here is how that looks:
To take advantage of bulk order pricing, it's best to use preset ordering periods when the site is "open". We'll help you determine the best schedule based on your event dates and order volume.
To avoid shipping charges to your customers, I would suggest having SOLV gather and sort each individual order and then deliver them all to your facility. Then athletes, families, parents, etc. can just pick their orders up there when they come in for practices or individual workouts. There are other options we can explore here, but this is what works best for most of my customers.
