TalentSpark came to SOLV with the goal and idea of not only enhancing their candidates onboarding experience, but to also make a lasting impression on the client. They wanted to help strengthen their relationship with both the employee and the employer helping them maintain their place as the #1 recruiting firm in Idaho.

TalentSpark is a boutique, women-owned recruiting firm based in Boise, ID. What sets them apart? They work for the employer, not the employee. TalentSpark partners with organizations to source top-quality candidates for key positions, from managers and C-suite roles to temporary workers, making them the ideal business partner for all your hiring needs.

As an outsourced extension of a company’s hiring and recruiting team, TalentSpark operates in a unique position. They strive to place the best candidates in the right roles while ensuring long-term job satisfaction—leading to an impressive 93% retention rate after one year. However, hiring isn’t always a constant need for organizations. Founders Stephanie Parker and Allison Bruce wanted to establish TalentSpark as a trusted, recurring partner for businesses, even when they weren’t actively hiring. The challenge? Creating an experience that not only leaves a lasting impression on hiring managers but also makes new employees feel valued from day one.

THE SOLUTION:
After hearing TalentSpark’s vision for a Candidate Placement Kit, SOLV set out to create a standout, well-designed kit that leaves a lasting impression on hiring managers while providing new hires with useful desk essentials. Beyond design, our goal was to take TalentSpark out of the day-to-day fulfillment and delivery, allowing them to focus on what they do best—placing top-quality candidates. We sourced practical, high-quality items for a new hire’s desk and implemented a streamlined fulfillment system to ensure each kit arrives on their first day. The final kit includes a 16oz coffee mug in TalentSpark’s signature brand color, a debossed spiral-bound notebook, a soft-touch metal pen, and a personalized thank-you note—all packaged in a box welcoming them to their new spark. Now, all TalentSpark has to do is notify us when they place a candidate, and we handle the rest.
